Why some images take longer
Processing time depends mostly on image size and how busy the servers are. A 12-megapixel phone photo has a lot of edge to refine at full resolution. Free previews are faster because they're processed at a smaller size. If you're working through a batch, you can start editing finished images while the rest are still in the queue.
Instant doesn't mean rough
Fast tools usually cut corners by running a smaller model at low resolution. We run a large model and refine at your image's real size — the speed comes from optimised inference rather than skipping steps.
